Good health: We make sure the dog is in excellent health, with all teeth in good condition. We also check hip and elbow x-rays to make sure they’re sound. Plus we make sure the dog has no visible health problems such as hair loss or a skin problem.
A strong nervous system: Each of our dogs must have a good nervous system to handle the type of training we do and also to endure challenging situations in life. Our trainer looks at how each dog responds in different scenarios. He takes them inside, outside, on different types of surfaces, and around other people of all ages as well as other dogs.
Excellent protection ability: They need to have strong drives, a strong bite, and be good in both defense and offense to ensure they can make it through our comprehensive protection training.
